Tv Icon Kristoff St. John, And The Longtime Star Of "The Young And The Restless," Dies at 52

St. John worked on tv for decades, got his debut in 1985 CBS sitcom Charlie & Co, and the iconic Cosby show as Denise Huxtable Vegetarian boyfriend. Later on went to play a most beloved patriarch himself on tv as Neil Winters for 27 years on "The Young And The Restless." Earned him 9 Daytime Emmy Award nomination and 10 NAACP Image Awards.




On Sunday friends went to check on him and found his him unresponsive and later was pronounced dead on the scene.

2014 was a sad turn in the veteran actor life, his son committed suicide due to battle with mental illness his ex-wife, boxer Mia St. John, hinted that the death of their son 24-year-old Julian may have been a breaking point.

St. John, has lately become engaged to new a girlfriend. His last tweet reads "Grieving the loss of a child is a process. It begins on the day your child passes and ends the day the parent joins them."

He is mourned by his family and co-start and now tributes are pouring in for the Y&R actor, both from his colleagues and legions of fans.
