Iman’s Launches New Fragrance — An Homage to Her Love Story to David Bowie

Iman’s launches new fragrance — Love memoir, a tribune to her love story with david bowie.

The fragrance, which Iman describes as unisex is housed in a sultry, amber-hued, oval-shaped bottle
with a hammered gold cap that mimics shape likes tacked river stones, which resemble the cairns sometimes used as memorial sites to honor the deceased. Iman partnered with Batallure Beauty on the fragrance creation, that became the inspiration for her second fragrance, her first foray in to the world of fragrance was Essence of Iman.

Called Love Memoir, the eau de parfum, which is exclusive to HSN, blends notes that read like a chapter in Iman and Bowie’s life together. Vetiver, the zesty scent that he wore at their first rendez-vous, is balanced with hints of bergamot and blackberry, which reminiscent of the Italian countryside where they were married. The design of the bottle shape like a hammered-gold cap draw resemblance to an African jewelry resting on a sunset-hued oval piece of glass. The box packaging comes in has a warm, caramel-toffee ombré pattern representative of Iman and Bowie’s travel escapades.

“The fragrance isn't too feminine—it has a masculine side,” she says. “It’s not a trendy scent. This is a fragrance that has a past.” she said in her vogue interview.
I have a fragrance that is both him and I,” Iman told People.
