BREAKING: President Donald Trump Becomes The First President to be Acquitted by The SenateTwice

Trump was again acquitted in a second impeachment trial, the Senate voted 57 to 43  their requirements of 67 vote supermajority were not met as conviction requires. But seven GOP join democrats in voting to convict. Some of those republicans already facing backlash by their state party hours after Impeachment vote.

The decision was met after debate over whether or not to hear witnesses in relation to the Jan. 6th riot at the United States Capitol. When previously the senate agrees 55 to 45 to subpoena witnesses. After breaking and voting for an hour an agreement was decided to not pursue further.
